How to create a Knowt student account

First Step

Go to knowt.com, and click Get Started on the top right.

Second Step

Enter your name, email, birthday, select Student for account type, and desired username.

Third Step

Click Sign Up at the bottom.

Fourth Step

Verify your email address by entering the code sent to your email.

Creating your first note

Now you’re ready to create your first note!

First Step

On knowt.com, click the blue plus button on the top right of the screen (next to the notification bell button) or click the Create New button on the home page right next to the library/trash button.

Second Step

Select Create Note to start on a fresh page.

Third Step

You can start with a blank page, the AI generator, or even by uploading a note from Google Drive/your device.

Creating your first flashcard set

Time to make your first flashcard set!

First Step

On knowt.com, click the blue plus button on the top right of the screen (next to the notification bell button) or click the Create New button (right next to the library/trash button on the home page).

Second Step

Select Create flashcards to start on a fresh set!

Third Step

Fill out the title, description, tags you want to add, and at least 4 terms to the set (which you can use the AI tool for).

Importing from Quizlet to Knowt

Have study material on Quizlet that you want to move to Knowt? Follow these simple steps to bring your content to our site!

First Step

Go to Knowt on the Chrome extension store.

Second Step

Click the blue Add to Chrome button.

Third Step

To use the extension, click the puzzle button on the top right side of your Chrome browser (to the right of your URL bar) — it will open a dropdown, and you should see the Knowt extension (it’s a white icon).

Fourth Step

Click the extension in the dropdown (there’s a pin button to the right of the name that we recommend you click for easy access).

Fifth Step

Visit any flashcard set on Quizlet.com and click the puzzle button, and then the icon to open the extension.
