With password protected files, anyone with the password you create will be able to see and study your note, but not have access to edit it. If you want access to this feature, you’ll need to join our Supporter, Pro, or Limitless plan here.

Enable password protection on files

On your home screen

First Step

Click the lock icon in the bottom left of an existing flashcard set or note.

Second Step

In the edit sharing settings pop-up, click on the Password Protected block.

Third Step

A password field should appear; please enter a password you want to set, and press save.

Inside flashcard sets

First Step

Open an existing flashcard set, or create a flashcard set.

Second Step

Scroll under the big flashcard on the right.

Third Step

Click on the share button.

Fourth Step

In the edit sharing settings pop-up, click on the Password Protected block.

A password field should appear; please enter a password you want to set, and press save.

Inside notes

Open an existing note, or create a note.

Click on the 3 dot menu button.
