Enabling Individual Licenses

These steps will walk you through how to add a license for an individual. To learn how to enable licenses for everyone in your organization, jump to the “enabling auto-enrollment” section of this article.

First Step

Go to your admin dashboard and select either the “Students” or “Teachers” tab.

Second Step

In the search bar, search for the person to whom you’d like to add a license.

Third Step

Click on the “Inactive” button in the “License” column, and toggle on the “License Status” switch. Once you click “save,” you’ll see that this individual now has a license enabled!

Enabling Auto-Enrollment

Enabling Auto Enroll means that any student or teacher who joins Knowt with your district’s email domain will automatically be attached to a license. This will allow your students and teachers to easily join your organization and immediately enjoy all of the perks that come with our upgraded plans!

First Step

Go to your admin dashboard. On the left-hand side of the screen, under either school or district licenses, click the “enable auto-enroll” button.

Second Step

To enable auto-enroll, toggle on the “Auto-Enroll” switch and click “Save.”
