Knowt’s video upload feature allows you to upload lecture videos, where Knowt can create notes & flashcards from them instantly!

Uploading a video saved on your device or from Google Drive

First Step

Go to the Knowt site and click the blue plus button on the top right of the screen.

Second Step

Click the Upload Lecture Videos button.

Third Step

Select Upload Video.

Fourth Step

Choose a video from your device or from Google Drive, then click Confirm.

Fifth Step

Add a description, tag, title, and switch the sharing options if desired, then click Next.

Uploading a YouTube video

To access this feature, you must have the Knowt Chrome extension installed, so please follow the directions in the linked article for installation.

First Step

Visit YouTube and find your desired video, then click the puzzle icon on the top right of Chrome.

Second Step

Click the Knowt extension icon to open the extension.

Third Step

On the Import videos & lectures tab, Kai will automatically scan the page for videos; if there is one available, click Open in Knowt.

Fourth Step

Add a description, tag, title, and switch the sharing options if desired, then click Next.

Uploading a Zoom, Canvas, Yuja, and Panopto video

To access this feature, you must have the Knowt Chrome extension installed, so please follow the directions in the linked article for installation.
