How do I get started?

To maximize your use of Matching Game Mode, follow these steps:

First Step

Select a flashcard set.

Second Step

Click the Matching Game button on the left-hand side of the screen, right under Spaced Repetition.

Third Step

Select the options that fit your goals and style:

  • Grid mode: lets you see all the terms in an organized way.
  • Scattered: all the terms and definitions are spread across the screen.

Fourth Step

Once you’ve selected your options, click start to begin your personalized study session. Matching Game Mode will display whether your choices are incorrect through orange colors or correct through blue; keep going until you match them all!

Tips

  • Review your mistakes: After you click two cards in the Matching Game Mode session, you will receive feedback on if you got the pair correct or not; you can then identify which terms and definitions you struggle with and need to work on before your next Matching Game session.
  • Utilize other modes: After you finish a Matching Game Mode session, try using the other modes such as Learn Mode to get even more practice in so you’re ready to take on the next round of Matching Game.
