Looking to add audio to your flashcards that's different from the automatically generated pronunciations of your terms and definitions? Or do you need to add specific pronunciation for your terms or definitions? Read on to learn how to record and add custom audio to your flashcards!

Note: Currently, adding customized audio to flashcards is only available on the Plus or Ultra plans.

Adding custom audio

  1. Navigate to the flashcard set you want to add audio to and click the edit button, if you're not already editing your set.

  2. Scroll to the term (or definition!) you want to add audio to and click the "Record" button.

  3. You'll then see a dropdown appear that will give you the option to either record your own audio or upload an audio file.

  4. Record or upload your audio, and click the play button to check the quality of the recording. You'll also be able to discard and re-record or upload a different file!

  5. When you're done, click "Save" to save your audio. You'll now be able to use your custom audio to study in all of our learning modes too!

On the app?

  1. From your Library, open your flashcard set if you're not there already.

  2. Click the pencil icon in the top right to edit your set.

  3. Click on one of your terms.

  4. Scroll over to find the microphone icon to add custom audio to your terms and/or definitions.
