Looking to provide a boost to users studying your flashcard sets? Read on to learn how to add custom hints to your terms and definitions to help you (or whoever is studying your set) find the right answer!
Note: Currently, adding customized hints to flashcards is only available on the Plus or Ultra plans.
Adding customized hints
Navigate to the flashcard set you want to add your custom hints to and click the edit button, if you're not already editing your set.
Scroll to the flashcard you want to add your hints to and click into the text box where you write your term or definition.
Click on the "Add custom hints" button that appears.
You'll now see a popup that allows you to create your custom hints for the flashcard's term and/or definition.
Enter your custom hints and click "Save." Your new hints will now appear in our study modes! To use a hint when studying, simply click on the "Get a hint" button.
Tip: You can also see which of your flashcards have custom hints when editing a term or definition because the "Add multiple choice options" button will now read "Custom hints on." To edit your hints, just click on the "Custom hints on" button!
On the app?
From your Library, open your flashcard set if you're not there already.
Click the pencil icon in the top right to edit your set.
Click on one of your terms.
Scroll over to find the lightbulb icon to add custom audio to your terms and/or definitions.
