This article will show you how to customize your folder titles with colors or emojis to add personalization to your study materials!

Toggle between the tabs below based on whether you’re using Knowt on a web or a mobile device.

Please note that you can only customize your folder titles with colors or emojis on our Plus or Ultra Plans!

First Step

From the Knowt homepage, locate the folder you want to customize.

Second Step

To add a folder color, click the 3-dotted menu next to the folder title. From here, clicking “Change Folder Color” will open up a color wheel. Choose your color and click out of the color wheel to see your folder’s new color!

To add an emoji to your folder, click the 3-dotted menu next to the folder title. From here, clicking “Change Folder Emoji” will open up our emoji library. Choose your emoji to add to your folder here!

You can also change folder colors and emojis from within the folder on a web device by opening the dropdown next to the folder’s title.
