These are the steps for inviting your students to your class on Knowt. You’ll have your students set up in no time.

Privacy agreement approval

First Step

To invite students within the US, you must first have your school’s DPA signed by Knowt.
Read this article to learn how to sign this privacy agreement!

First Step

Once your DPA is approved, on the homepage, select the Classes tab right next to My Files (you should be on it already).

Second Step

Select the class you would like to invite students to.

Third Step

Under Class Code & Link, click copy class link.

Fourth Step

Send your students the copied link and have them click the link to login to Knowt.

Fifth Step

If they haven’t created an account yet, they can follow this article to log in.

Sixth Step

Instruct them to click join class and select their class section.

Seventh Step

Students will click join class again to finish.

Invite students through class code

First Step

Under Class Code & Link, click the class code.

Send your students the class code and have them login to Knowt.

Students will then navigate to the Classes tab on their account.

Seventh Step

Instruct them to click join a class and paste the class code.

Eighth Step

They will now click next.

Students will select their class section, then click join class again to finish.
