These are the steps for creating your first class on Knowt. You’ll be set up in no time.

First Step

If you haven’t created an account already, follow this article! You should create your account with your school-issued email, or it won’t let you set up a class.

Second Step

Make sure to select Teacher under Account Type.

Creating a class

First Step

On the homepage, you’ll see that you are already on the Classes tab (shown on top left).

Second Step

Click create new right under the Classes tab.

Third Step

You’ll be asked for your school name and some minor information if this is your first time creating a class! [Why are you asking this?]

Fourth Step

Fill in your class information, such as the class name and number of sections/periods.

Fifth Step

Click create class at the bottom.

Next steps

After creating your class, the next step is to invite your students.

To invite students within the US, you must first have a DPA signed by Knowt; reference this article to have Knowt handle the process for you!
