Overview

As a KnowtTaker, you’ll be working side by side with the brightest students to make Knowt the go-to place for studying — all while getting access to amazing benefits.

What will I do?

We’re building pages dedicated to each major exam that students around the world take. We’ve already launched our AP Knowt Hub that contains unit guides and more for the AP exams in the US. We want to introduce a similar experience for exams like IB, GCSE, and more!

Upon joining, you’ll be able to choose how you want to help us in this mission — you can earn volunteer hours or get paid for being a writer or reviewer.

What are my responsibilities?

As a writer in the KnowtTakers program, you will be asked to do the following:

  • You will be responsible for uploading 1 note and flashcard set per unit you select that meet these guidelines to your Knowt account (we would like you to select 3 units at a time). For writing mathematical equations and formulas, please use our built-in LaTeX editor. You can use the resource bank we have provided you, as well as other tools (do NOT plagiarize). In this process, your work will be reviewed by an assigned reviewer to address comments, concerns, or edits through the writer portal. Once your notes are fully reviewed, you will be using the Knowt AI tool (you’ll get Knowt Pro for free upon request, and 50% off Limitless upon request) to create flashcards from your notes and final submissions of both the notes and flashcards will be made.
  • Maintain a rating of at least 4.0 on your Knowt profile (visible on profile page). The rating on your profile is a collective average of the ratings on all your notes.

As a bonus — the KnowtTakers with the most notes written and reviewed by the end of the year will receive Limitless for 2 years for free! The 2nd highest, and 3rd highest will receive Limitless for 1 year as well!

Great — how do I start?

  • Join our discord through the invite sent to your acceptance email. We’ll use discord to communicate with each other!
  • Read the welcome message and complete all the steps in #welcome-and-guide, including picking your selected role.
  • Create a Knowt account if you haven’t done so already by clicking here.
  • You’re ready to start writing or reviewing notes! Follow the directions provided in your email.
