Volunteer Program
Are you looking for a way to earn volunteer hours? Once you join the KnowtTakers Program, you can decide if you would like to be paid or receive volunteer hours instead! Here’s how you can do it:
Steps to request volunteer hours
First Step
Log in to either the writer portal or reviewer portal depending on your role.
Second Step
Click your name on the top right of the portal, and under Payment Channels, make sure that Volunteer Hours is selected, then click save.
Third Step
Your balance will now be displayed as hours, rather than a monetary value.
Fourth Step
Check to see the units that you are submitting for volunteer hours are under the Completed units section.
Fifth Step
Fill out the writer form or reviewer form in order to request the hours and select Yes or No under the “Do you have your own volunteer form to upload?” question.
Sixth Step
Set the date you need your hours by.
Seventh Step
Click save to finish!
What if I don’t have my own volunteer hour form?
First Step
With the completed units you would like to request hours for, fill out the writer form or reviewer form in order to request the hours.
Second Step
Select No under the “Do you have your own volunteer form to upload?” question.
Third Step
Set the date you need your hours by.
Fourth Step
Click save to submit the form.
Fifth Step
You will receive a certificate for your volunteer hours from Knowt, so no further action is necessary!
