How can I use AI to write my notes?

Using Kai in notes

  1. Open a note (or create a new one). The first time you use AI, click Yes, I want to use AI when prompted.

  2. Use the Kai chat in the right panel's Learn tab to ask for study guides, outlines, summaries or explanations, or press the space bar on an empty line to get a Kai Complete suggestion.

  3. Turn a finished note into flashcards, a podcast, a practice test and more from the Learn tab: Flashcards (+), Podcast (+), Practice Test, Call Kai and Knowt Play.

Tips

  • Be specific in your prompts — the more detail you give, the better the result.

  • Use keywords from your class so the note matches your course.

  • Check the facts — AI can make mistakes, so read through before you study from it.
