How to customize your folder titles with colors or emojis

This article will show you how to customize your folder titles with colors or emojis to add personalization to your study materials!

Tip: Please note that you can only customize your folder titles with colors or emojis on our Plus or Ultra Plans!

Customizing your folder titles on Web

  1. Locate the folder you want to customize.

  2. To add a folder color, click the 3-dotted menu next to the folder title. From here, clicking "Change Folder Color" will open up a color wheel. Choose your color and click out of the color wheel to see your folder's new color!

    To add an emoji to your folder, click the 3-dotted menu next to the folder title. From here, clicking "Change Folder Emoji" will open up our emoji library. Choose your emoji to add to your folder here!

Tip: You can also change folder colors and emojis from within the folder on a web device by opening the dropdown next to the folder's title.


On the app?

  1. From your Library, find the folder you want to customize.

  2. Click the 3-dotted button next to the folder name.

    To add a folder color, click "Change folder color." Choose from the options on the color wheel that pops up and click "set" to save!

    To add an emoji to your folder, click "Change folder emoji." Choose from the options in our library to add an emoji to your folder title!
