Steps to organizing items into a folder

  1. On the files page, find any file (including notes or flashcard sets) you would like to move into a folder and click the 3 dots on the file to open the action menu.

  2. Click "Move to."

  3. If you don't have a folder already, create one via the "Create" button in the top right of the screen.

  4. Click the folder you just created or a pre-existing folder you want to move the file to.

  5. Select "Move here."

Can I use drag and drop?

Note: Yes, you can use drag and drop on the Knowt website. However, this functionality is currently not available on Knowt mobile apps.

Just click and hold the desired file from your homepage, and drag it to the folder of your choice under Folders. The folder will turn green once the file is above it. Let go to move the file inside!

On the app?

  1. Go to your Library page and find your file.

  2. Click on the 3 dots next to the file name.

  3. Select "Move to folder" and choose the folder you want to put the file under.

  4. Click "Move here" to save!
