These are the steps for moving your students between different sections in your class. Organizing your students has never been easier.

Moving one student between sections

First Step

On the homepage, select the Classes tab right next to My Files.

Second Step

Select the class you created.

Third Step

Go to the People tab of your class.

Fourth Step

Click the Section button located to the right of the student’s name.

Fifth Step

Select the Section dropdown and choose the desired section to move your student to.

Sixth Step

Click move to finish moving the selected student to their new section.

Selecting and moving multiple students between sections

First Step

On the homepage, select the Classes tab right next to My Files.

Second Step

Select the class you created.

Third Step

Go to the People tab of your class.

Fourth Step

Select the checkbox square located to the left of the student’s name.

Fifth Step

You can select multiple students, or even all of them by clicking the checkbox square located at the top directly under the All Sections dropdown.

Sixth Step

Click Change Section located right next to Remove Student.

Seventh Step

Select the Section dropdown and choose the desired section to move your students to.

Eighth Step

Click move to finish moving the selected students to their new section.
