Chrome extension is not working on my PDF?

Check if your Chrome extension is updated

1. To do this — please close your browser completely, and re-open it. This should automatically install the newest version of the chrome extension.

It’s a file downloaded on my computer

You’ll know it’s downloaded if you see something like “file:///C:/Users/14159/Downloads/” in the URL.

If your file is downloaded to your computer and you are viewing a preview in your browser (and you are on the latest version of the chrome extension) you will unfortunately need to download the PDF and import it to Knowt manually. Here are the steps:

Canvas file

Canvas is most likely downloading the file to your computer.
