Having trouble logging in
Oh no! We’re so sorry that you’re having trouble logging in! We’ve organized some potential fixes below based on how you normally log in. Please follow the steps that are most relevant to you.
I usually log in with email, but I don’t know what email to log in with!
If you’ve forgotten your email or are not able to log in with an email you expect to work, please send us a message through the Knowt contact page with a list of possible emails you could have used to create an account. We may be able to check what email it is and reset things for you!
I know my email, but forgot my password

I keep getting logged into the wrong Google account
If you’ve already signed into Knowt once with your Google account, it is likely linked and will automatically log you into Knowt. To fix this, please clear your cache on your browser. Please see below based on your browser:
- Chrome
- Safari:
- Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
- Select the Develop drop-down menu on top. Click Empty Cache.
- Firefox:
- Visit settings.
- Click on privacy and security.
- Click on clear data.
- Please only keep cached web content checked.
- Press clear!
I usually log in with Google but it’s not letting me in
- Make sure you are signed in to the proper account by visiting Google and clicking on the profile picture at the top right of Chrome (to the right of the Gmail button).
- If you are signed in to a different Google account than the one you use for Knowt, click sign out, then log in to the correct account and try to open Knowt.
- If you are still not able to log in with an email you expect to work, please send us a message through the Knowt contact page with a list of possible emails you could have used to create an account. We may be able to check what email it is and reset things for you!
I usually log in with Apple but it’s not letting me in
- Make sure you are signed in with the correct Apple ID used for Knowt (you can use your Apple ID’s associated email or phone number to sign in).
- If you forgot your password for your Apple ID, click here to reset it.
- If you are still not able to log in with an email you expect to work, please send us a message through the Knowt contact page with a list of possible emails you could have used to create an account. We may be able to check what email it is and reset things for you!
I usually log in with Facebook but it’s not letting me in
- Make sure you are signed in with the correct Facebook account used for Knowt (you can use your account’s associated email or phone number to sign in).
- If you forgot your password for your Facebook account, click here to reset it.
- If you are still not able to log in with an email you expect to work, please send us a message through the Knowt contact page with a list of possible emails you could have used to create an account. We may be able to check what email it is and reset things for you!
