These are the steps for signing the privacy agreement on Knowt. You’ll be able to invite your students to your class in no time.

First Step

To invite students within the US, you must first have your school’s privacy agreement signed by Knowt. Read this article to learn more about what the privacy agreement is, and why Knowt needs it signed!

Second Step

To begin approval for your privacy agreement, on the homepage, select the Classes tab right next to My Files (if you’re not on it already).

Third Step

Select the class you created.

Fourth Step

On the Dashboard tab of your class, click invite your students located under Class Code & Link.

Fifth Step

Enter the email address of who Knowt should contact at your school (this can be your IT administrator, principal, superintendent, or another teacher).

Click next at the bottom to continue.

Seventh Step

Knowt will send an automated email to your contact and will reach back out with an update within 1 week via email. You can also view the approval status through the header that appears under the Search bar at the top of the page.

Eighth Step

Click next again.

Ninth Step

To help speed up the approval process, you can choose to request the approval from your own email as well; click copy email & referral link and paste the template into the email if you decide to send!

Tenth Step

Click no thanks if you didn’t send an email or i sent the email! if you did.

Eleventh Step

You will now see a checklist of the approval process; click Let’s set up my class! to exit back to the Dashboard tab.
