Check if your Chrome extension is updated
To do this -- please close your browser completely, and re-open it. This should automatically install the newest version of the chrome extension.
Now that you've done this -- please try the following steps:
Open the PDF you want to import.
Click the chrome extension.
Import!
If it's still not working, please see the most applicable section below!
It's a file downloaded on my computer
Tip: You'll know if the file is downloaded if you see something like "file:///C:/Users/14159/Downloads/" in the URL.
If your file is downloaded to your computer and you are viewing a preview in your browser (and you are on the latest version of the chrome extension) you will unfortunately need to download the PDF and import it to Knowt manually. Here are the steps:
Click the download icon in the top right of the PDF.
Open Knowt.com.
Click on the green plus or create new button.
Select upload file.
Upload your file!
